Even though we're already more than halfway through 2014, I still haven't started working on my Smash Book for 2013.
The other day I sat down and put together a list of all the events I would like to include in my next book. Here they are:
I guess I hadn't realized how busy I was last year! So now I've got a whole lot to fit into just one book, but I think I can make it work. Stay tuned for pictures as I make some progress!

This spring I went on a trip to Europe and decided ahead of time that I'd like to make a Smash book of the trip. The best part was that I took the Smash book and some supplies with me and I worked on it throughout the trip. By the time I got home I was 90% done with it, I just had to paste in some pictures and it was finished! I had bought some keychains during the trip and put them on the pen loop when the book was done to add some extra character to the book. Here are some pictures of my Europe Smash book so you can see how it turned out: One of my last spreads was for our day in Paris. I bought some postcards and wrote on the back of them with memories from that day. I used Washi tape at the top so you can flip the postcard up and read what is written on the back. On the opposite page I used a large pocket to hold my Eurostar tickets. There are plenty of ideas and tutorials online if you're interested in starting a Smash book. You can visit my Pinterest board to see the ideas I pinned or you can check out some of the many videos on YouTube.
