It's taken me over two weeks, but I am finally getting around to writing my trip report for my latest trip! First, here's a look at what I did day-by-day so you can get an idea of what is coming up in this report:
Day 1: My flight to Florida didn't leave until 11:35am, so thankfully I didn't have to wake up before dawn to make it to the airport on time. It also helped that my mom offered to drive me to the airport, so that meant I didn't have to worry about parking offsite and catching the shuttle to the terminal. I arrived at the Denver airport about two hours before my flight took off, so I grabbed breakfast and then found a seat at my gate. I passed the time by listening to an audiobook on my phone. Before long, it was time to board. The flight seemed to take forever, probably because I was excited to arrive in Florida and get my trip officially started! After we landed I grabbed my suitcase from the baggage carousel and headed outside to catch my shuttle to the Sleep Inn I was staying for one night. The shuttle area was a mad house and very chaotic. Thankfully my shuttle only took about 20 minutes to arrive and pretty soon we were on our way to the hotel. Once I was checked in to my room I decided that I would just order pizza delivery instead of trying to take another shuttle to a nearby restaurant. While I waited for the food to arrive I got my clothes situated for the next day and packed my backpack with the items I didn't want to leave in my suitcase. Not long after eating dinner I decided to go to bed and have an early night so that I would be rested up for the big day tomorrow. Up next tomorrow, boarding the largest cruise ship in the world! Also, my first Oasis dining experience with strangers…would they be friendly or would it be awkward? Stay tuned to find out!
